2-Year Training and Support Program – (NFDP) New Franchise Development Program

Two years, 24 months, 104 weeks — however you want to say it is fine with us.

Here’s what to expect throughout our comprehensive franchise training and support program.
Pre-Training: Six Weeks

Onboarding and Pre-Launch Preparation for your initial 6 Weeks

Upon your personalized onboarding call, the first six weeks will be completed at home. We’ll provide a checklist of the key action items you need to accomplish, including obtaining your business license, completing our digital training, setting up your mobile showroom and securing an office space. Don’t worry, though we will schedule weekly calls with you to make sure you’re hitting deadlines and to provide answers to all your questions, as well as to connect you with your new franchise peers to allow for you to foster powerful relationships with your fellow new franchise owners. We’ll be thoroughly acquainted by the end of this portion of training, and work to have you well prepared to attend your first in person training event in Atlanta.

Pre-Launch Training at Atlanta Headquarters: Tuesday – Friday

After the first six weeks of onboarding are complete, you will then come to our Atlanta headquarters for your first of three in-person training events with members of our team titled Pre-Launch.

  • Partake in role-playing scenarios to understand our sales process, as well as measuring and estimating exercises with your tablet and technology to establish proficiency in creating and presenting proposals.

  • Receive in depth product and production training

  • Develop a one-year and three year business plan in addition to a 10-year vision plan

  • Receive CRM, SalesForce and marketing training

The best part? Your business will already be booking appointments during the five days you’re training with us. Once you’re back home again, your business will be open!

Grand Opening Learning Syllabus: 5 weeks of at home learning and education

Following your initial live event training you will work through a fully developed learning syllabus that is comprised of both self-paced online modular training and group zoom calls that will be focused on the core elements of your FCI business across the spectrum of Marketing, Product Knowledge, Measuring and Estimating, Sales and Operations. This comprehensive content is designed with a week-by-week structure to develop your preparedness for the formal launch of your business.

Launch Training at Atlanta Headquarters: Tuesday – Friday

The week prior to your formal launch you will come back to the Atlanta headquarters for a week of training to reinforce and prepare you to take your business to the market and to get off to a successful start. This training week will have key areas of focus around marketing strategy, business leadership, technology, and key financial management of your business.

FIELD TRAINING: Upon your grand opening and official launch, you will continue to receive ongoing support and skill development through weekly field training calls for 12 weeks following your launch. This weekly syllabus will ensure that important training and resources are provided through both modular learning and small group video calls as you are out in your markets beginning to build your businesses. The areas of focus for these Field Training sessions are primarily oriented towards sales skills, competitiveness resources and financials.

Flight Training at Atlanta Headquarters: Tuesday – Friday

After your first 90 days, “Post Opening” you’ll make a third visit back to our headquarters in Atlanta for additional training to really hone in on what is going well and what needs immediate attention in your business; as your first 6 months are the most critical to your development so getting a course correction at the halfway point is very timely and meaningful for your success. At this stage, our support is more customized to your needs as a business owner.

Weekly resource calls to elevate your business

As an FCI franchisee, you are the CEO of your business. To help strengthen your skills as the business leader, our Start Up operations team will facilitate weekly calls for ongoing support and skill development as well as to continue to foster important peer relationships with your fellow franchise owners across our FCI network. We also discuss how to stay on target for meeting your business plan and key goals and objectives.
