Jibrel Thiaw believes that he has a lot to offer as a small-business owner and he can’t wait to get started on his new journey since launching Floor Coverings International of South Dallas recently.
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs in Senegal, West Africa, Jibreel said he has always taken ownership in everything that he has done, sustained by a strong work ethic passed along his family line. Jibreel, a 46-year-old resident of Mansfield, Texas launched Floor Coverings International of South Dallas-Fort Worth in December to serve customers throughout Mansfield, Burleson, Midlothian, and surrounding areas. Jibreel previously spent more than 20 years in corporate finance, working for a wide gamut of companies, ranging from a small furniture dealer to Fortune 100 companies such as Proctor & Gamble and American Airlines. “I’m tapping into my wide range of experience to bring our corporate vision to life, and that’s to provide the best in-home flooring shopping experience in North America,” Jibreel said.
